Climb

LOCATION
A post-atheist country which makes it an exciting place to live and minister.  Most young people do not have a negative view of religion although they come from a predominately religious background.  This makes spiritual conversations extremely interesting as you share Christ with friends.  

Many people under-30 speak English, so it isn’t necessary to learn language to get around.  But a language learner is better received by many locals because of the expressed humility to engage with the language and culture.  You should expect to spend a several hours a week in language school for the first year. 

OPPORTUNITY
There are several possibilities:

• Work alongside the climbing gym (no previous climbing experience needed)
• Help with the business logistics
• Start a parallel missional enterprise

Position summary:

• 25-35 aged peers to partner with and grow alongside as they follow and serve Christ together
• Mature individuals or couples to help mentor a growing team
• Followers of Jesus who could work with USAID, teach English, start another business, or work in your profession in a local business
• 2+ year commitment to make best impact in relationships and the community (both mid-term and long-term possibilities)
• Beginning as early as summer of 2015
• Support raising needed initially before business is established
